Michael Patrick Leahy Joins Steve Bannon’s WarRoom to Discuss Launch of New Radio Show on 760 AM

Editor-in-Chief and CEO of The Tennessee Star Michael Patrick Leahy joined Steve Bannon’s WarRoom on Monday to discuss the launch of his radio show on Nashville’s newest conservative talk station 760 AM WENO “The Flame,” the Music City’s only America First newstalk station.

After five years on TalkRadio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC, The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy officially moved to its new home on 760 AM WENO as of Monday, December 11.

The radio show is produced by Star News Digital Media, the parent company of The Tennessee Star conservative news website.

On Bannon’s WarRoom this week, Leahy said it was time to “burn the ships” after five years on TalkRadio 98.3 and 1510 WLAC.

“We are joining the America First radio station here in Nashville, 760 AM owned by the John Fredericks Radio Network,” Leahy said, adding, “It’s great to follow Steve Bannon on the radio on 760 AM here in Nashville.”

In 2022, WarRoom and The Star News Network, the group of state-based conservative news sites owned and operated by Star News Digital Media, announced a strategic partnership.

760 AM switched to a talk format after being purchased by the John Fredericks Media Network. The station in Nashville is operating under the tagline, “Nashville’s Only America First Newstalk Radio Station.”

The weekday lineup on the station begins with The John Fredericks Show from 5 am to 9 am, WarRoom with Bannon from 9 am to 11 am, and now The Tennessee Star Report with Michael Patrick Leahy from 11 am to 1 pm.

Leahy’s first guest on The Tennessee Star Report on Monday was Dr. Carol M. Swain, who responded to allegations that surfaced Sunday accusing Harvard University President Claudine Gay of plagiarizing “multiple sections” of her Ph.D. thesis from 1997 by pulling material written by scholar Swain.

Leahy, a 1977 graduate of Harvard, called for the university president’s resignation following the revelations and recommended Swain be named as Gay’s successor.
